The OAA 2023 Conference, Designing for Dignity, takes place in Sudbury from June 21 to 23. At the gateway to Northern Ontario, this setting will prompt members of the profession to have new conversations as well as to learn from and collaborate with local communities about the role the profession must play in supporting dignity for all.
More information on the event, including a special virtual keynote in April, will be coming soon. In the meantime, check out our new series, “Faces of Sudbury,” on the blOAAg, as we spotlight some of the people who call the city home, as they share reasons, architectural or otherwise, why you should visit as part of Conference. We kick off with a profile on Dr. Tammy Gaber, Director at the McEwen School of Architecture at Laurentian University.
